The 1A style involves the player and the yoyo (ball bearing) being connected by the string. The player performs tricks by interacting with the string, making it the most practiced yoyo style today.
The 3A style is similar to 1A, but with a yoyo in each hand, requiring interactions between the two yoyos.
Finally, the 5A style stands out because the yoyo is attached to a counterweight on the other end of the string, allowing for an increased number of possible tricks.
